Run a motor flush every other oil change and run good quality synthetic. Low grade oil sludges a lot easier than a high grade synthetic.

My husband isn't carnivore yet but he is off seed oils because I'm the cook! Maybe a little when we go out. But don't much. My daughter is going blind,wish she would go carnivore. Don't know if it would help her,but can't hurt.I feel amazing on carnivore!

Is there any preferred oil that would help mitigate the clogging of this line? Maybe high mileage oil? Other question; is there any concerns with introducing air from the replacement line into the system?

Just an observation from watching your videos. Yes you are trying to do the carnivore diet, but you do not take care of yourself. You were a heavy smoker, you've got diabetes which means you're not following the diet. Also I heard you say another video that for breakfast you ate eight eggs, an entire pound of bacon and a pound of ham. That's not eating healthy that's just being a glutton. Having a stroke is scary, I had one too. But it's from unchecked blood pressure, severely over eating and smoking. 2 pounds of cured pork and almost a dozen eggs in one meal is just absolutely sickening.

What was the problem?

I’m trying carnivore for the first time, but I struggle with meat. I’ve never been a big meat eater at all. It’s not health concern. I just don’t enjoy the taste of meat that much. I love fruits and vegetables. I was on a plant based diet for 8 months. While I really enjoyed the food, I did not feel good.

I live in the south it’s hot so I bought 20lbs of 410a about 4 years ago for $180 and taught myself a lot from just RUclips videos and honestly isn’t way easier than automotive even easier than vintage automotive to fix and I’ve been keeping my and my friends and family going since then.

POE Oil I'm guessing. Seems to be what is used for the electric pumps. Thanks for sharing. Any compressor makes to recover the R134a? Thinking I'll find a good used single use tank and cut the seam off carefully to modify the check valve so can be used to fill as well. Was thinking more to use one of these POE Oil compressors to actually compress for recovery.

The NO.1 cause of bad eyesight is NOT food or OIL. It's READING and especially now with phones of course,. OIL is poison and to be avoided but it's not the main cause of bad eyesight. We are not designed to stare at small objects ie. text, for hours on end every day, this is a simple physiological fact. It's why if I say "Professor" you imagine a person wearing glasses. So while we are slaves to our phones peoples eyesight will continue to get worse but yes of course definitely avoid anything called OIL unless using for a machine.

It's rarely ever just a head gasket. If no machine shop checked it, I hope you have a straightedge and it's straight. Framing square won't work. We had one tech install a head gasket on two engines and both turned out to have a vertical crack in the cylinder. A 4.3 and also a Nissan! He didn't rotate the engine and check it. Time he finishes it, coolant starts to fill the #1 cylinder. Thinking back, you take a big risk giving someone an estimate on just a head gasket. It's risky to say the least. You have to check the head and the block thoroughly. I hate doing head gaskets on older cars. I say what about the bottom end! How much life is left? If it comes in not running, then you don't know anything about it, or the transmission! Sometimes a head gasket can be a total waste of time. Also had an early 90s 4-Runner and owner was in love with this thing. Shop gave him an estimate on head gaskets and it was towed in. Well, 3 cylinders didn't come all the way to the top! You know what that means. He just wanted head gaskets! It ran ok but was a little low on power if you ask me. I don't think it will last. He should have bought an engine or let the machine shop rebuild it. I'm not in business to save people money because it usually ends up costing me money! A few of these and you will run your brother-in-law and those cheapskates out of town. Like the woman who brought her car in for check engine light. You can't even road test it, not enough gas! I stop dealing with people who have no money! She said, can you check the air in my tires! I say, we had so many people want air in their tires we charge $5. She nods her head ok. But wait, we not done yet. Do you have $5? She hands me five ones. Now I can check the air pressure and air the tires. Because if you don't do this, you will work yourself to death and when you call the roofer or HVAC guy, he's gone charge you not hundreds, thousands, and you ain't gone have it. Chevy Luv needs a head gasket, that's all it needs, only $600. You pull the head, and head gasket is blown right between the #2 and #3 cylinders. The block has a crack there too! JB it or junk it? Stop dealing with people that have no money, or you gone end up just like them!

Power Wash , and a couple o' cans of Paint . Make it look like a new Garage . That Garage has my OCD kicking in big time !!!

A lot of service technicians get a kickback on the sale of a new unit when they talk the customer into “upgrading”.

I have to defend my industry here. First, saying "it is just a capacitor" sounds like limited knowledge to me. There are a lot of experience and measures involved in a typical service call, and that is why it is charged high in diagnostic. You are probably happy because you just replaced a capacitor but wait in a couple of days when they start calling you back for the same 25 year old r22 unit, not cool believe me. Guess where you get the money to return for a call back . However, i know there are bad ac techs as there are bad auto mechanics, but things are really expensive right now. Refrigerant is expensive, and sometimes a new system is the best option. So dont expect replacing just the capacitor to be below $250, brother. Have a good day.
